About me

My career in finance started in 1988, since when I’ve enjoyed many years working with retail clients across the financial services industry. Although I specialize in ‘Money Makeovers’, I also provide advice on financial, retirement and estate planning, investments, lifestyle protection and the financial effects of divorce.

I’m a member of the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) and, having gained their Level 4 Certificate in Regulated Financial Planning, hold a Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (DipPFS) along with a Statement of Professional Standing.

I live in Mill Hill, North West London, and cover Central and North West London and Hertfordshire.

My experience

I’ve enjoyed a varied career and have benefitted from working within a variety of financial institutions in different roles and environments: I’ve worked for St James’s Place, Foster Denovo and was managing director of Julie Bishop & Co for six years.

I’ve also founded and run my own advisory practices, starting with a practice in London’s West End, created Kingfisher Financial Planning in 1996 and Money Makeovers in 2013.

How I work with my clients

I‘m passionate about helping individuals, families and business owners – nothing is so worthwhile as helping them overcome their money stressors, make better financial decisions and achieve their financial goals.
Apart from providing financial advice, I can also offer the knowledge and experience I’ve gained from working closely with accountants and solicitors. This is particularly beneficial when helping clients through either probate or divorce proceedings and allows me to provide an all-embracing, ‘complete’ service.
